Where this came from

I am a rusty dad, and that's where the name came from.

I started RustyDad in May 2026 from Norway because I got tired of looking for a shirt that actually made sense for where I'm at in life, and finding nothing but hustle slogans and gym motivation I didn't ask for.

I'm not a startup. I'm not a brand agency. I'm a dad who's a bit worn down, still showing up, and finding it funnier than I probably should.

Rusty doesn't mean broken. It means used. Worked. Earned.

Why I made this

There was no shirt for this guy.

Everything out there either wants to motivate you or make you look younger than you are. Nobody was making anything for the man who fixes the sink with a bad back, makes a sound getting off the couch, and still gets it done.

That man deserves a shirt. So I made one. Then a few more. And here we are.

Aging is not failure, it's the receipt for a life you actually showed up to.
Humor is how men tell the truth. I lean into that hard.
Worn-in is different from worn-out. One means it fit. The other means you quit.
Still here is enough. Most days, it's actually everything.
